Overtaken by a van, i was able to tap the side as it passed which caused the driver to stop and shout at me stating he gave me plenty of room and I was in a cycle lane so what was the problem. It was reported and the driver received a fine and and invitation to an educaiton course, i was warned not to hit vehicles that overtook me as it could inflame the situation, good advice which I have heeded!
