Taxi driver ‘forgot’ that he has mirrors

18 Nov, 2025 - 6 months ago - on Mount Street Coming down the steep Mount Street descent, when a taxi driver totally fails to use his wing mirrors (surely the very bright flashing Fly12 would be a giveaway that there was someone else using that particular piece of road!) and starts pulling out into my path. Without my alerting shout and taking evasive action, I would have arrived at the scene of my own accident. As it was, luckily not, although he proceeded to shout abuse at me for the next 30 seconds until he overtook me on the climb back up the hill. Sigh.
