I was heading north on Stokewood Road in Bournemouth when I was overtaken by a flatbed truck carrying several planks of wood at an angle on the left hand side of the vehicle. No sooner had it passed, the truck collided with a tree at the side of the road, shattering the planks onto the pavement and roadside. Luckily there were no pedestrians involved, nor closely-following vehicles.
