Despite our flashing lights helmet and on the bike and the fact that both of us were wearing yellow vests and were very visible, as well as the cement barrier in the middle of the road, this driver chose that moment to pass, speeding well above the 30 km/h limit—closer to 50 km/h—and nothing, not even the flashing sign, stopped him. Continued way over the speed limit into the town.
