New Year’s Eve Right Hook

Our group was descending near Tallman State Park when a car came past and turned right. I anticipated the right hook because I heard that telltale sign, the engine decelerating, so started braking early. If I hadn't it would have been a much closer call and possibly causing the riders behind me to crash.
