Typical RLJ behaviour at the notorious traffic lights on the A6 at Garstang, where I was previously almost hit by someone crashing the lights at 60mph, while cycling across on the side road. Lancashire Constabulary ignored the report, as usual and as it did for the 4 similar offences I have reported on here from 20.6.20. I followed up on this with LC, and after jollying me along for 4 months with claims that the offence was being investigated, they conceded that the case had actually been binned soon after the offence was committed. They said it had been NFA'd by someone in the Neighbourhood Policing Team, but 'they didn't know who that was because he hadn't signed the log'. As is obvious, LC operates on lying as a routine. No exact time because GPS was again not operating. It is interesting to note that, today, the vehicle VED is legal but there has been no valid MOT since 6.10.22. Absence of MOT is another common offence in Lancashire because to police are determined to do nothing about it: they refuse to take action against vehicles which have had no MOT for years, when the offence is reported
