Follow the Leader, Ignore the Bicyclist

As soon as my signal to proceed went on, I hopped on my ebike as I stood on the sidewalk and saw one car go by me as I was just rolling off the sidewalk. Then as I started rolling in the street, the next car swung a bit wider to make his right turn-- completely failing to yield the right of way. The violator's car was just a foot in front of my front wheel. Close call.
