Deliberate swerve to intimidate

Due to the bike lane conditions on this section of road (I have ridden this north bound section twice a day for the last 6 weeks on training rides) the lane can only be partly used, the rest of the time we must ride in the traffic lane.

This particular incident had no precursor. I was riding alone, I had come from another section of town, turned onto Millers Road and I was riding north to my turnaround point, the ride had been completely incident free.

The bus moved out and provided loads of space, two white sedans did the same, this Van driven by a P Plater thought it was funny to intimidate a cyclist.

I have a 14 month old baby at home. I would like to get home every day to see her beautiful face.

Fines or loss of licence are not the answer for these idiots, they must be sentenced to long community service terms working with TAC and specifically people who have been knocked off bikes. They will spread the word for us.
