Cyclist is overtaken at entrance to roundabout and is forced to take avoiding action

This driver decided to overtake a vulnerable road user approaching a refuge island at the entrance to a roundabout forcing the rider to take avoiding action. The driver was reported, went to court and received 5 points + £440 fine + costs. Hopefully they will be more careful in future.
