Close Pass Group Ride

Six riders here (lots of flashing lights). How can that be missed? This really irritates me. Was this deliberate? PLEASE... Drivers in cars need to give a minimum of 3 feet clearance when passing bicycles. It's the law! Besides this, it is the safest way to pass. We were on a four lane road (two lanes on our side). Why not just get into the other lane? We have families that we all want to ride home to.
