Close Pass (Car) with Oncoming Traffic

Fairly busy road that I have ridden many a time and one car passed by so close (you can see they don't even get that close to centre line) and then made gesture as to why a bike should even be there (despite the fact later on same road there is a split on to a cycle lane).
