Close pass by impatient Stagecoach bus driver

The driver was behind me for the best part of a mile, accelerating to within 2-3m behind me before making a dangerous pass. I put in a GDPR subject access request to Stagecoach for the bus CCTV footage but was told

"We have been advised by the Depot Management Team that the CCTV was not working on the bus, and this has been reported to our Engineering Team, and we are not able to share any footage with you."

which seems convenient.
