McIntosh Road in Southern Maryland has a narrow shoulder and can be busy. Since there is a shoulder (although it is small and often clobbered with debris), I choose to ride it in this section on a slow climb rather than take my chances on the left of the white line. I this instance, the driver never changed their position in the driving lane to ensure the state required 3 foot clearance of a cyclist.

It felt close; video shows it was either at 3 feet or just inside.
