Very busy road, lot of parked cars

This is a short stretch of cycle lane adjacent to the entrance to a park and school. The paint is designed to draw the attention to motorists entering and exiting the school of the cycle lane. Great idea – except the paint is glossy and treacherous to cyclists when wet. My wheels went from under me on a wet day and I hurt myself badly. Luckily my helmet did its job and saved me from serious injury. No other vehicle was involved. I have reported the issue to the local Council and asked that the surface be treated with non slip paint.

Unexpected hazard ahead

Wait for the first red light and wait again for the second.

Very slippy foot path

A bit of flooding in Dorset

After a lot of rain and followed with snow all the flood were out. Not the first car to be caught out in Great Easton ford.

Making my way through the floods after a lot of rain and snow, only another mile to go.

The lights are green for a very short time. You will be trapped by red 2 (and potentially even 3) times.
