Incident type: Motor vehicle

~08.00 Sunday 22.4.18    Heading West on Lily St, Enfield NSW , crossing Burwood Rd at small roundabout, name change to Ann St Enfield. Car (69yr old male driver) Tboned me, and I came to rest  at corner shop Dental Spot 75 Burwood Rd, Enfield NSW 2136.

One night in RPA Hospital. Fractured nose, eye socket & finger; cracked teeth; lacerations calf and sore thumb.

NSW Police informed me driver lost 7 (of 13) points, $1000 in fines. Technically no surgery required (dental surgery does not count), so police do not charge driver.

Club bunch ride rudely interrupted on a beautiful morning by a seemingly inattentive driver in a 90 kph zone.  Fortunately, no one critically injured.  Two conveyed to hospital for exam/treatment & a couple of bikes suffered a bit of rash but oooooooh so lucky.  Thanks to the lovely woman who stopped to render first aid – should be more of you! Ride On! Ride Safe!

A motorbike registered plate BMJ2513 went against traffic causing riders to crash. The motorbike was supposed to be on the other side of the road but decided to take shortcut way.  Rear recording is uploaded at same location but different submission because of tiny 50MB upload limit.

A silver VW Golf pulled out from the junction to my right heading for a parade of shops. The driver slowed almost to a stop directly in my path. The road was wet and downhill so I was unable to stop in time and came off the bike sliding down the road. Lucky not to be hit by the oncoming red car.

The incident has been reported to the Police.

Cuts, bruises and road rash to right leg as I was wearing shorts. Swelling to my right forearm and painful lower back. Bike and clothing damaged but mostly cosmetic. Bike currently being inspected for damage and repair estimate.

On a casual social distancing ride with my son ahead of me, we were riding along peacefully when this driver emerged from behind.  You can hear his honking start almost as soon as he sees me, and continues right up to the point of impact.

Bike is okay! Stay safe everyone.

Car that does not stop when entering a roundabout with a stop signal. Nor look at who is circulating inside the roundabout. Recorded with the Fly12 / Fly6CE. Card recording failure at impact. The driver said “I have not seen you” I answered “if I had stopped I would have seen” end of the conversation.

Fallo de grabación de la tarjeta en el momento del impacto. La conductora dijo “No le he visto” Yo le conteste ” si hubiese parado me habría visto” fin de la conversación.

Van approaches from behind in the run up to the roundabout. Once alongside, the van moves left and hits me. I hit the brakes and the van takes the first exit left.

Riding to work, a car stopped at a red, I went to pass in front, he drove through the red without looking to see what he might hit.
