Painted lines aren’t infrastructure. On Keilor Rd, the tram lines seem to encourage drivers to drift left into the bike lane forcing cyclists closer to the dooring zone.

Cars not staying clear of bike lanes. Poorly designed infrastructure doesn’t help. This intersection is a mess.

Almost home when I hit this patch of road. Look at the amount of rubbish and poorly maintained roadway and the tyre sealant spray out when the screw penetrates

I do understand that if a patch of roadway is marked green it means to keep clear. I guess this doesn’t count when bicycles are the benefactors. The issue is further confused by the presence of an old council sign that says the bike lane ends where the green bike clearway begins in the leadup to the green bike storage box.

Riding the bike path through Yarra Glen, lumpy bike path with trip hazard hidden in the shadows see a runner go for a spill…He is ok… Ignore date/time stamp on rear camera.

It is a penalty in the state (Victoria) to be “Stopped – obstruct access to a bicycle path”
Penalty of 1 demerit point and $377 fine

I’ll try

Truck passing ran off road and threw up a piece of broken pavement hitting my bike.
