Four of us were riding in the single file line, when a dog we have never seen before raced out into the road. He missed me, but hit my friend behind me. My poor friend has a broken scapula and other trauma.

Riding into Canberra from the north and driver of twin cab hits me
Suspended driver sideswipes rider on Pacific Highway, Roseville NSW and very near miss of two others. Driver had struck another rider earlier on the same road and went on to have six more incidents before being caught by Police.
Rider suffered five broken ribs and a bent derailleur.
I was proceeding through a green light and the twin cab turns left into me. I was knocked out, suffered abrasions, bruising and concussion. I spent the rest of the day in Emergency.

This dude just hit me with his mirror on a bus lane. He was not even allowed to drive there.
Cycling to my gym on the Pacific Highway, Crows Nest in perfect conditions when a motorist decides that I am not there. Result: multiple fractures of the hip and shoulder. Surgery required to insert rods and screws with many weeks of recovery and rehab.
Took me a year to put this together, and it still gives me the chills watching this footage.
Front wheel locks at almost 30mph. Knocked me unconscious for a good minute of so. Could have been way worse outcome though: only ear lac, and frame snapped 3 places, no broken bone.

Teenage driver on her cell phone turned in front of me. Running about 20 mph before I saw the car start turning. Was able to get on the brakes a second or two before impact. Estimate my speed at 15 mph at impact. Twisted the handle bars on the stem. Easy fix. Luckily no other damage to the bike. Several deep bruises up and down my left side. Ribs have been sore for over a week. After my conversation with them, I think they’ll look before turning next time. I had a flashing front lamp and neon orange jersey but she didn’t “see me.”
Driver left stop sign claiming he didn’t see the cyclist who had dual flashing front lights on the bike.
