Careless motorcyclist when going down the slope

Dog Crash

A crash is bad enough but then I was pummeled upon by several other cyclists in the aftermath in the opening miles of a 100k T-shirt ride!

Note: I have Fly 6 and Fly 12 vision and have submitted 2 files
I was riding straight down a wide two lane road on a perfect morning, until a SUV came out of nowhere and went straight though a give way sign and t-boned me from the side. Amazingly you don’t see the car in the Fly12 approaching the very clear intersection at all and you only just see the front of the car for a split second as it crashes into my side/rear on the Fly6. Thankfully I had both on my bike and that has helped me to piece together what happened. It’s also amazing that I walked away from this crash.

The time stamps on the two files are a little different and about 15 minutes out of sync, however the Fly 12 has the correct time on it.

The driver stopped to check I was OK. About 5 seconds before the end you’ll hear me very politely say ‘thanks for stopping’ (on the Fly 12 in particular), which I’ve been getting some ribbing about by my mates. I swear more when I’m not hit by a car!

I crossed the 12th Street bridge and attempted to proceed through the next intersection. The driver on my left did not anticipate a bike to his right as he made a right turn.

I was riding home when I was hooked by a driver who failed to check the bike lane or indicate. I received severe compound fractures to my scapula and clavicle that required expensive surgery. Greensboro Police declined to ticket the driver. I was knocked unconscious and my bike had been hauled away by the time I woke. Fortunately, Incident Protection worked as advertised and my Fly12ce saved the footage from the crash.

Car disregarding oncoming bicycle traffic

Side head on crash with an Scooter. Luckily I had my Cycliq camera turned on! Enjoy!

My husband and I were hit by unlicensed, distracted, legally blind driver 8/31/19. Yet to be held accountable for this. The next court appearance is in February 2020.
