Incident type: Car

Just what you need in the last couple of KMs of a tough sportive. Note that the driver was happy to give my mate plenty of room as there was nothing coming the other way, but couldn’t wait a couple of seconds to show me the same courtesy.

Clueless Tesla driver came within 6 inch’s of me when the opposite lane was completely clear as you can see from the driver behind the Tesla that properly passed. Police called, spoke to driver, no charges but police now have a registered complaint against the driver.

As you can see from the video the driver passed really close to me and blasted their horn. I was well within the white line. They also weren’t far away from hitting the oncoming vehicle! Excuse my expletives but it was pretty scary.

The driver in this video obviously almost wiped a small group of experienced cyclist out by trying to overtake without any consideration for their safety. I honestly believe this driver needs to be prosecuted before someone is seriously injured or worse. They have been reported to the Police at Powys.

On peut toutefois voir dans la première partie que la voiture attend au cédez le passage que la camionette confirme sa direction, ensuite malgré la visibilité réduite le conducteur s’engage et me coupe la route.
