Tradie wants left, can’t wait, has to overtake cyclist instead to wait
the careless and dangerous driving by one of AES IRELAND driver in an AES lorry.
it occurred in the Drogheda to Duleek round-about as one of your drivers pulled out in the wrong lane behind me and then proceeded to overtake me then cut across my path to join onto the M1 motorway.
Very close pass – felt the air movement on my left side (guess under 1′ clearance)
As far as is noticeable the driver didn’t even slow down
The road was clear so plenty of room to move over further (ideally moving completely over the yellow line).
Police response:
“In-line with our investigation protocols, the footage has been reviewed by myself and my supervisor and it has been deemed insufficient to proceed with any charges or further investigation.”
While riding back from the garden center at 16:09 9-Jul-2021 I was passed multiple times by a driver in a Nissan Armada (LLZ-2072). They encroached in the shoulder to pass me closely, turned right in front of me, stopped to obstruct my path, then passed me closely again slowing down and inching closer the whole time until they were done getting a kick out of putting me in danger…and the whole time they were looking at me smiling.
Ford F150 FX4 pickup truck pulling a trailer pulled up beside cyclist on Hwy 80 in Martindale, TX, USA, then initiated a right turn crossing directly into the path of the cyclist forcing the cyclist off of Hwy 80. Cyclist had to brake hard to avoid hitting the truck and the trailer wheels came dangerously close to the rear of the bicycle. Local police are grossly understaffed and consider the cyclist to be a pedestrian. They stated that even if they could prove who was driving the truck, they could only issue a citation for failure to yield the right of way to a pedestrian.
