I was riding my bicycle east on E. Lawson Rd. in Jonesboro, AR, on March 9, 2018, at approximately 5:30 PM when an older female in a white Chevy Colorado attempted to pass me near the crest of the hill. She made no attempt to slow down to wait for a safe passing area and instead crossed over into the oncoming lane with no regard for approaching vehicles. When the front of her vehicle was alongside me, she began swerving in my direction to avoid an oncoming vehicle and crowded me to the extreme edge of the road (there is no shoulder in this area). She continued to move in my direction and as her truck made contact with me, I forcibly struck her passenger side mirror with my left hand to prevent being knocked over (and possibly under the rear wheel). This caused the mirror to fold back against the window of her truck and may have caused damage to the plastic housing or the mirror itself. I immediately stopped at the edge of the driveway for the residence at 709 E. Lawson Rd. She applied her brakes and slowed momentarily, but then continued on out of sight.

Lady passed group crossing double white lines approaching a roundabout then pulled left side swiping group.

Riding at 19 mph in my bike lane a car pulled out in front of me. Only had the Fly6 CE at the time…I now have the Fly12 CE too.

Now that the riders have been released from hospital and the unabridged footage is with the police it seems reasonable to post this clip.

Note that this stretch of bike lane is operating 24/7 and just fits the two riders but not when a car door swung open.

It is easy to understand how dooring is a killer, but this time the lane to the right of the riders was empty.

We were waiting at the lights in a turning lane. The car behind us decided to change lanes and go straight through the lights but didn’t look to see the truck coming straight for the green light!

Some drivers are insane – this person has been reported to the Victorian police and has been charged with dangerous driving. The driver shows no respect for anyone here – words cant describe what he does. Wanted to pick a fight with ten people – didn’t apologise to the downed riders. Awful.

Early morning easy tempo ride almost home. Then struck from behind . Never new I got hit until I woke up in hospital. Just say lucky to be alive but also very long recovery

A motorist ran into me at the Baker St/Houston Rd roundabout

Riding south along the freeway on the bike path, forced onto the road due to road works. Merrily pedalling a long and a car coming the opposite direction decides to take a right turn right across where I was and completely cleaned me up. Footage is rear facing, but the bike gets some pretty impressive air as I bounce off the windscreen. I was riding at around 35km/h, not sure of the car’s speed in the other direction. Somehow I managed to just roll off the bonnet straight into my feet and walk away with nothing but 9 stitches, probably from the license plate trying to take a chunk out of my knee. The bike is toast. June 2nd, 2019.

I was at a stop light in the right lane. The NO TURN ON RIGHT light was on. A driver came up behind me. He then decided to ram me. I was totally shocked. When I turned around he was violently shaking his fists at me and yelling. I did not catch his license plate, but I turned the video over to the police. Hope they catch him.
