These lights have a fixed timing, which is just too short to make it in a normal way.
Incident type: Bad road/path
Video of road hazards, potholes, obstacles, hazardous conditions and badly designed infrastructure. Not necessarily an accident or close call.
The driver was transporting long pieces of PVC pipes that were too long for the trailer. Solution? Place them diagonally, and don’t worry about the overhang. A dangerous situation for the driver not paying attention when passing bicyclists, and other motorists, not to mention illegal in Florida (FSS 316.510)
Unregistered hoons (read most likely stolen) using the cycle path as their personal hwy. Regularly seen doing ridiculous speeds and dangerous maneuverers along the path with no care for themselves or anyone else.
A burst water main jetting into the air…….
Poorly designed bike path that reduces car parking, provides opportunities for motorists to inadvertently and deliberately park across the bike lane, and leads to motorists exiting the side street to park across the bike lane while waiting to exit.
The driver of the Jeep is a serial offender. He works/owns a nearby motor works and regularly parks across the bike path. Last time I confronted him, in his business premises, he claimed the car was a customer’s car and they would move it soon.
Note also the car exiting the side street which has to park across the bike lane in order to see whether it is safe to exit the side street.
Hundres of children pass here daily
Tildonk-Boortmeerbeek was full of ice. Mechelen-Boortmeerbeek was completely free and safe.
Cleaning time dumping there water on the bikelane. Dangerous when it is -10°, because it will freeze and get very slippery.
