Incident type: Close call

Any incident that almost results in a crash.

Out for an early morning ride, and a large trash dump truck blocked the shoulder and half of the lane, forcing me to cross the double yellow to get around it…not knowing if the dump truck might back up into me as I passed it. There was an oncoming car to consider as well…thankfully the drivers all behaved themselves. You’ll see it in the rear facing camera.

Could of ended badly.

Vehicle pulled out of traffic suddenly and stopped in bike lane right in front of me. I had to swerve around and hope the car behind me had reacted quickly enough and that there was enough room for me to go around without being hit. Probably a drunkard going to the brewery at that spot.

riding safely in cycle lane, approaching intersection, car behind me overtakes and does a LH turn in front of me cutting me off, then black car at intersection with GiveWay sign, proceeds to pull out and cut me off as well.

Cycling to work my normal route I have had so many lucky escapes here I can nearly read their minds now. Driver of white van following van in front pulls in without properly looking or indicating. Plus the van is not currently taxed.

Not content with an aggressive close pass (complete with tire squeal) on me, this top bloke decides to undertake another cyclist down the road and force him on to the wrong side of the road.

Motorist drives past cyclist then makes a negligent right turn in front of cyclist at intersection.

Goose lurking in the shadows, dives for front wheel of tandem, barely misses.
