Why don’t cyclists use the cycle paths??

Riding home from work one afternoon I came across this truck being unloaded and almost completely blocking the path leaving barely enough room for my handlebars to fit through.

Driver proclaimed it was his “delivery lane”, that he parks there every day, and isn’t going to stop because it’s illegal and dangerous.

The M St. bike lane is regularly blocked by construction vehicles, Metro vehicles, and people waiting to pick up people from the NoMa Metro Station.  A bollard or some other lane hardening would help keep it clear and prevent people on bikes from having to ride into traffic to get around.

A bike path along a 3 lane entrance to a freeway is obstructed by buses at a bus stop and one of the buses pulls out whilst being overtaken by a cyclist

Even with well marked and green painted bike lanes, sometimes you have nowhere to go.
