Incident type: Bike

Silver Beamer failed to give way and pulled out from driveway. Bikes crashed trying avoid impact with the car. Fortunately cyclists were riding slowly at the time. View of cyclists and driver appeared to be obscured by dump truck but that didn’t seem to be of concern to her when she sailed out onto the street.

Crashed due to a possible cross wind around last week of February 2020 at Tanah Merah Coastal Road, Singapore.

Some people are better in corners than others

Three things all cyclists can learn from this unfortunate tumble.
1. Best if you hold on correctly (thumbs wrapped around) when you are on the tops.
2. On a hot humid day gloves can help you from slipping of the tops due to sweaty hands.
3. This was on a group ride and we were in a double pace line and the two up front were talking and not paying attention SO no one called out the pothole that he hit.

I was on the bike with the cyclic camera and hit the same pothole but was holding on correctly with gloves on and didn’t crash.

It’s a regular Wednesday ride when one of the our rider change lane and got into the gap and felt.

Coasting uphill to a red light and another cyclist cut across the bus i was passing on the inside to swipe my front wheel. If i never had clip ins i’d have been able to put my foot out and stop falling.
