Imagine my surprise when I turned to see what was behind me and find a large dog close on my tail? The helicoptering tail and relaxed face told me that there was no threat. No sooner had the encounter started, a distraction caused the dog to drift his focus off of me allowing me to continue up the grade and finish my ride.

“Come for a relaxing ride along the river,” I said to my daughter.
“The scenery is green at the moment and the weather is beautiful,” I continued.
“Sure,” said my eldest daughter. “That sounds nice.”
How did that ‘relaxing’ ride turn out?
