A group of 10 cyclist all with bright rear lights passed at very high speed by a Ford Ranger around a blind corner with a bus full of kids approached in the oncoming lane of traffic. To avoid hitting the bus the truck grazed many of the cyclists by inches. This road had very little traffic and the truck had ample time to slow down and wait 5 seconds before passing on a straight away. This was a very conscious decision with very little excuse/reason to pass. Local Sheriff called and the incident was reported. License plate matched car description so car owner was to be contacted. However, in NC, even with video evidence, no charges can be filed against the driver or owner of vehicle.
