This is the video clip from my rear bicycle camera of a vehicle that tried to pass me on the left as I was maneuvering for a left hand turn from Western Ave. to Whitney St at appx. 10:40 am this morning. My Lumos helmet has a flashing red triangle which goes solid when I put on the yellow left turn signal that lights up the entire rear left side of my helmet with a blinking yellow arrow, which I did. I do not remember if I had begun to give my hand signal at the time the vehicle accelerated to pass me on the left, but I do remember turning and pointing directly at the driver to yield after s/he honked and I heard the brakes screech. I also have a bright red Garmin light that can be seen from 1/4 mile away.
