Mini Van Runs Stop Sign

This van ran the stop sign almost hitting a group of cyclists. This intersection is very dangerous which is why they finally put a stop sign here recently. It used to be a green arrow/yield but cyclists are forced into the fast lane and then squeezed by vehicles making the right because they have the arrow and would rarely look. Many crashes have occurred here (9W south & Clinton Ave). The stop sign is relatively new but I don't think drivers care. Police should do a few ticketing operations here to send the message that drivers must stop first. I was too far back to get the plate number.
