Five us us were on the narrow Abel Tasman Drive cycling towards Pohara. The local Bidfood supply truck could not wait the 15 seconds before the road opened up so decided to pass on a blind corner. There was an oncoming car so they cut in, barely missing me. The video was sent to Bidfood who stood the driver down, and supplied to the Police with a request they prosecute for dangerous driving. Great having video evidence!

The irony here is that I am leading the efforts to get Tasman District Council to put in a separated cycleway on this section of road. So the video was gold 🙂
