Close call at Cnr Beaconsfield parade and Pier Road

We were stopped at a traffic light on Cnr of Beaconsfield parade and Pier Rd when a red car (Plate number: 1CP 9EX) was too impatient to allow cyclists to share the road. This car zoomed ahead giving me no space to merge into the road resulting in a close call. If it weren't for my partner yelling out, I would not have stopped and would have been taken off my bike.
