Riding Wednesday morning a kangaroo came out of the RHS and took me out travelling at around 40kph. Currently in Canberra Hospital receiving treatment for 11 broken ribs very very painful.

Dog owner failed to have their pet on a lead, so he decides to run into the middle of the group of 5 of us riding along a quiet residental road beside the river, going at about 30km/h – unfortunately with all too predictable results. One rider hits the dog and then goes straight over the handbars landing on his head and shoulder. Luckily the helmet did its job but a very bruised, bloodied and cut up rider as a direct result of a negligent pet owner.

Bull Mastif on the loose and full attack with jaws wide open.

Dog jumps out in front of 4 cyclist. Last cyclist had no time to react. Dog owners have been found and animal control picked up the dog. It was very aggressive to us coming out to attack. Some people do not deserve to own pets! Rider broke his clavicle, sustained bruise ribs and road rash.

Goose on the right of the trail, his buddy on the right shoulder. Surely, if I go to his left, he’ll have the sense to go right, right? Wrong!
