SUV pulls out on me then gives obscene gestures out of the window

The Nissan X-Trail driver pulls out without looking (or just doesn't care) and then responds to my cheery 'look I'm right here' wave with some obscene hand gestures. Not usually something worth reporting but the hand gestures showed how little the driver thinks of vulnerable road users so I reported it to the police.
No idea of the outcome as the police don't supply updates.
