I was riding north up Barrack Street from Riverside Drive, in the cycle lane. There is very, very clear signage of no left hand turn into Geoffrey Bolton Avenue. Because of this, although the Nissan was indicating left, I assumed that this must have been left by accident on from prior and that they would not turn left due to it being clearly prohibited. I was wrong, very nearly colliding with them as they turned left across my path. What's the point of having road signs if some people feel that they can ignore them?
