Lynx EMS vehicle through Yellow/Red light
103 views.
On a two lane city street, I approached a surface, 4-lane divided 'highway' which feeds to/from a limited access highway to the left. I am familiar with this intersection and the stoplight pattern.
As the cross street near me turned to yellow, I scooted ahead a few feet through the pedestrian zone in anticipation of going.
Being safe, I glanced to my left since running through late-yellow and red lights seems to have become prevalent around here.
Well, an ambulance zoomed right through the light as it turned red after an adequate-length yellow. I looked above it as it passed in front of me and the stoplight was red.
Glad I wasn't too eager!
