Do you want me to put a hole in you?

I was on the last 5 miles of a 40 mile Saturday morning group ride. There is a section of about 3 miles where there is a ~5% grade. The group tends to get spread out, with all of us going to single file. As I approached the end of the climb, I was buzzed by a driver. There was no cars coming the other way, but he decided to pass me VERY CLOSE. It startled me, and I hollered, "HEY" to get his attention. On Audio (as I was so focused on him, I did not turn my camera in his direction) - The driver stopped and proceeded to argue with me, and at one point held a pistol and asked me, "Do you want me to put a #$%# hole in you"? I kept my calm, and asked him why he passed so close, did he want to kill me? Would he do that if it was a loved one? He had no logical response. I showed the video to the local police and filed a police report. He was arrested, and taken to jail for Simple (1st degree) Assualt. In court, he plead Guilty, telling the Prosecutor that he did not want to go to jail, and did not want the video to be shown. He had his CWP - Concealed Weapons Permit taken away, and was given a fine. Without the video, I would not have the evidence to have him arrested. I use my Cycliq FLY 6 and FLY 12 all of the time.
