Dangerous Citroen Berlingo driver close passes cyclist while undertaking HGV

After nearly rear ending the left turning car in front of them the Citroen Berlingo driver accelerated towards me. Instead of waiting for the HGV in the right lane to pass they just squeezed through the gap between us coming dangerously close to hitting us both before continuing to undertake the HGV.
Reported to West Midlands Police at the time but they usually don't give updates so no idea of any action taken.
