Cycling on a residential road with a parked car on opposite side of the road. As I drew level with the parked car, a car in the opposite direction decided to overtake the parked car directly into my path. Evasive action on my part meant I missed the car with less than 50cm of breathing space. Don't think the driver even saw me despite me having a front flashing light and bright orange gilet.
