Incident type: Squirrel

Squirrel ran out from a yard into my front wheel. You can hear it bounce off the spokes. It landed in the grass and ran off to continue it’s squirrel life.

Is this good luck or bad?

I’ve heard of squirrels wrecking other cyclists, and I thought I’d join the club.

Black squirrel was sitting in the middle of the trail. You never know which way they’ll run.

Not sure why I shouted at the squirrel to get out of the way!

I think it was actually a chipmunk, but I had to swerve a bit to avoid. Little critter and I both escaped unscathed.

he was sprinting on the side of me, then made a break for it.
