Riding south on A1A. A lot of beach nourishment going on, so the roads are always full of trucks full of sand headed to the beach parks. Usually the drivers are professional and respectful. In this incident a worker directs the truck driver to pull straight into the road without seeing me. The driver does not even look in my direction and pulls straight across the bike line. I was preparing to bail into the grass. Not happy. Reported, hoping the authorities will ask workers and drivers to be more careful. As usual the vehicle reg is too dirty to be readable.

Didn’t see the indicator, managed to brake in time. I was told I was going too fast.

Fully lighted, this guy didn’t see me. Friendly interaction, apologized. But this guy is no roadworthy anymore.

While I was avoiding potholes and returning to the bike lane, this SUV accelerated to a high speed, close distance pass while in an intersection when they could clearly see I was also transporting a child on my bicycle. This kind of intentional endangerment by drivers needs to be stopped before they end up harming someone. If you threatened someone with any other weapon besides a car on a road, what do you expect to happen? Get these negligent, aggressive drivers off the road, they shouldn’t get another chance to threaten people with their cars. Permanently revoke licenses of these violent drivers and watch traffic congestion get better, watch traffic collisions go down just by removing a small number of people who drive with a heinous disregard for other people’s lives.
