Vehicles should not be passing near the intersections and often they have no speed perception of the road bike.
On Oct.19, 2021 at 5:50 PM I was bicycling west of Kokomo, IN on 50S about to make a right turn into 440W. Near the intersection I was passed in the left lane by a red Chevy pickup truck with his right turn signal on. The truck did not cut me off and did allow me to safely turn right. After making his right turn, the truck seem to have passed me in a hurry, almost covering the message that he just lost 3 or 4 seconds of his life.
I, on the other hand, should not have to, but do remain grateful that I did not lose my mine.
