truck close call

cycling on shoulder of road where a known area of the shoulder ends forcing to enter main roadway. Look over shoulder to make sure traffic clear and then enter roadway. Hear my radar pickup an approaching vehicle quickly. Look over shoulder and see large truck ready to squeeze between car in turn lane and me. Immediately swerve over forced to run over storm drain grates. cannot imagine if I would not have swerved.
