Terrifying Mercedes prime mover

I was riding my road bike on Lytton Road, Murarrie, heading westbound towards the Creek Road intersection. I had a clear road ahead and was driving close to the shoulder and just before I crossed Creek Road I found that a large transport vehicle blew its horn very loudly immediately behind me and forced me to find refuge in a left hand turn lane and then he continued to blow his horn again once again as he passed me.
Other cyclists behind me thought he was going to run over the top of me and told me how he switched from the right-hand fast lane into the left hand lane just before reaching me. This can be seen in the video.
