SJ70 NNHSunday afternoon drive with the family, not paying attention!

22 Aug, 2021 - 5 years ago - on A737 the Dalry Bypass

While crossing the A737 Dalry Bypass at Highfield, two cars crossed ahead of me from the left at a safe distance, but the driver of the third, a black SUV, was not paying attention and failed to see me (I wear a bright orange jersey and red helmet). As I took avoiding action, she finally saw me and braked hard (you can hear the tyre squeal briefly) while having the audacity to stand on her horn. Having stopped and let me pass, she did hold her hand up apologetically.
