Smokin’ Joe runs a red light

Heading north on Braidley Road in Bournemouth, I came to a halt for a red light behind a Mercedes that was throwing out a lot of exhaust smoke. He was clearly in a hurry because he ran the red light rather than waiting for a change to green.
