Pushed out of the way

I was cycling up the short incline on Fitzharris Road from the junction with Charminster Road in Bournemouth, past parked cars on either side of the road. A small van was ahead of me driving in the same direction. A car coming in the opposite direction gave way to the small van, then came barrelling down the road towards me, passing very close and giving me very little room to avoid hitting the cars on my nearside.
