Driver of the van made no attempt to slow down to allow oncoming traffic to pass so they could then overtake me at the required distance. Although we were heading into the sun I don't believe the driver would not have seen me as the previous driver gave me plenty of room as they overtook me. I also had 2 flashing rear lights operating, 1 of which is designed for daytime use. The passenger can clearly see me.
