This was the first time I crossed this bridge after the much-heralded Mobile Messaging Trailer was installed. You can see the messages: 30, Look Out For Cyclists and Please Drive Carefully. Immediately and completely ignored by drivers the entire couple of weeks the MMT was there. Illegal crossing of the unbroken white line and close passing and exceeding the 30 limit. It's still the same at this bridge now, and the reports were all ignored by Lancashire Constabulary, who thought that a spell of MMT was quite enough!
