The following was sent to the Denver Police Department: I would like to report a dangerous and aggressive driver that I encountered on Sheridan Blvd on 5/08 at approximately 11:24 AM (the time on the video is out of sync but I do have my GPS tracking of the time this took place). I was traveling southbound on Sheridan and as you will be able to see was as far right as possible. A woman in a red car saw that we would both be approaching the same intersection together, West Mansfield Ave and Sheridan Blvd, and safely followed me because if she passed she would have had to make a right turn directly in front of me, called a right hook by cyclists, or come to a complete stop in the road as I passed the intersection. The car behind her aggressively tailgated her and laid on his horn. He continued to do this for several seconds until she turned and once she did he buzzed me, dangerously close and much closer than the 3 feet of clearance that is required by Colorado Law. As you can see by the enclosed screenshots and the link to the enclosed video this driver was acting in an aggressive and dangerous manner and I wanted you guys to know about him.
