Driver Oblivious to Surroundings
On my typical after-work ride, I was following a route I take probably 90 percent of the time. As I crested a short but steep climb, and started down the backside sloping downhill run, I noticed a car starting to back out of a driveway about 100 yards in front of me to the right. Based off the car speed, I could tell that they weren't going to stop so I gradually slowed down to a stop until I was in the road right next to the car. Waiting to see what they would do next - the driver looked to their right, acted surprised, and then pulled back into their driveway so I could pass. I didn't get mad or say anything since they yielded to me without incident, but had I not been paying attention OR had I been a car/motorcycle instead, the results could have been much worse. Just wish I'd had a front-facing camera (sponsorship opportunity...?)
